We had a very fun weekend. Soarin was here and Mom decided it was time to try to get that perfect Christmas Family Photo for her Christmas Cards. Good Luck Mom! We tried and tried - it is very difficult with me (a baby!) and Soarin (a silly 6 year old who wont sit still!) and Aspen (a dog who just doesnt understand how and where to sit and why are they making me wear that dumb santa hat!). So, after trying and trying, we still do not have a family picture - however a few of them turned out pretty good...here is my favorite!

Hi everone! We had a busy weekend - the ducks won and are now ranked #3 in the nation!! Mommy and Dad are loving it! Mom's business partner, Karyn left for Hawaii today and will not be back until the day we leave for Denver - so Mom is going to be very busy at work. We went trick or treating on Halloween and it was so much fun. We stopped by Aunt Lauren's house, then we stopped by cousin Illyia's boyfriend Andrew's house - which was decorated as a haunted house. It was spooky, but I did not get scared. I laughed and laughed at the ghost by the front door. We also stopped by our friend Thomas' house and he tried to give me chocolate! Crazy Thomas - chocolate isn't for babies! That's all for now...love and kisses

Last night the Denver Broncos lost to Green Bay in overtime. Mom's friend Sara, who is a Packer fan came over to watch the game with us. I learned how to clap and high five. It was so much fun - except that my team lost. I am now standing really well and even taking small steps . When I hold onto the coffee table I can make it all the way around. Tomorrow is Halloween. We carved one pumpkin and mom baked the seeds - she loves them. Mom is going to make me get dressed up in a ladybug costume. Today should be very fun as I get to go grocery shopping for mom's work. It is a big job and usually takes about 3 hours and two to three carts...whew! We are all tired on Tuesdays. Have a wonderful day...love you all! Nora

Hi everyone! This week has been very busy. Grampi Bill (dad's dad) has been here since Friday evening. We went up to the Mountains on Saturday and played in the hot springs. Mom forgot her camera so I cannot share the picutres with you - but it was so much fun. Last night we went out to dinner at a place called Papa's Soul Food and had some awesome KC style bbq - okay, I didn't eat any - they made me have organic squash...Today I went to daycare and when mommy picked me up everyone was napped except me. I am learning to stand and walk around the coffee table now - mom acts all nervous when I do this. I love you all and wish I could see you all more often....love Nora!

I am learning to climb the stairs

today i climbed the stairs. Okay, not all of the stairs but the first three. Mom sat on the stairs above me and dad was at the bottom of the stairs behind me...i think he thinks I might fall! It was amazing! And now I plan on doing this as much as possible. Mom says she's going to get a gate...I went to daycare today and had lots of fun playing with the teacher Joelle. She is super! I will be at home all day tomorrow with Sonia and Jasper because mom is going to a class. Tonight my friends are coming over to carve pumpkins. Soarin, my brother will be here too. I cannot wait to see him.

BLOG???

So, this is a blog - I don't understand a blog - what is it? What does it stand for? Why do people blog? Why is it so popular? Why does everyone do it and I don't have a clue??? Anyhoo, if my sister (a new mother also) has time for this, why not me...from what I can gather, a blog is a diary. I will make this Nora's diary... (please someone tell me if I am way of base on my definition).

Today is Tuesday, I went grocery shopping with Mommy. Then Mommy took me to her work. I ate a big lunch of Apples, Pears and Oats. Now I am back home and we are folding clothes together - well, mommy is trying and I am not helping. Talk soon...
